01 · The Problem

The Problem

The business connected footwear factories to wholesale buyers, but the website was built like a retail storefront while the business ran on wholesale rules — buyers order by the carton, from one supplier at a time, at negotiated volume prices. The result was that orders lived in WhatsApp threads instead of the system, the owner had no way to stop a vendor from listing bad or misrepresented products, price changes could be disputed after an order was placed, and there was no reliable record of what was sold, to whom, or at what price. Growth meant more chaos, not more revenue.

02 · The Diagnosis

The Diagnosis

The client didn't need a better shop window — he needed control. Three specific gaps were doing the damage: no gate on who joins the platform, no gate on what gets listed, and no locked record of the commercial terms at the moment a deal is struck. Everything else was a symptom.

03 · The System
