ShoesNet — B2B Wholesale Footwear Marketplace App

Rebuilt a wholesale footwear operation that relied on a website and WhatsApp into a controlled B2B ordering platform with clear oversight of vendors, products, and orders.

01 · The Problem

Wholesale operations were constrained by a retail-style storefront

The business connected footwear factories with wholesale buyers, but the website was designed like a retail store while orders followed wholesale rules: carton quantities, one supplier per order, and negotiated volume pricing. Orders moved to WhatsApp instead of staying in the system, product quality could not be governed consistently, price changes could trigger disputes, and there was no dependable record of what was sold, to whom, or at what price.

02 · The Diagnosis

The core issue was operational control, not storefront design

The business needed three controls: who could join the platform, what could be listed, and a fixed record of the commercial terms at the moment an order was submitted. Without those controls, growth increased operational risk instead of creating a more scalable process.

03 · The System

A mobile-first B2B ordering platform with owner-controlled approvals

Controlled Buyer & Supplier Onboarding
Every new buyer and supplier enters an approval queue before they can transact on the platform.
Product Listing Approval
Every product waits for owner approval before customers can see it, and approval can be revoked at any time.
Order-Level Price Locking
Every order is captured in the system with prices frozen at submission, ending disputes over later price changes.
Owner-Level Decision Control
The owner can override any supplier decision on any order, enforcing final authority through the system itself.
In-App Buyer–Supplier Messaging
Buyers and suppliers talk inside the app, giving the owner visibility into the conversations behind every order.
Arabic-First Full-Stack Mobile Platform
Delivered as a custom backend plus an Arabic-first mobile app covering the buyer, supplier, and owner experiences, with Excel exports for accounting.
Case study media
Case study media will appear here once added.
The results
The owner now approves every account and every listing before it goes live — quality control that didn't exist before
Orders and their commercial terms are captured as records instead of chat messages, ending price disputes after the fact
Full visibility for the owner: all orders, all conversations, all vendor activity, in one place
Business data exports to Excel for accounting and reconciliation outside the app
Owner decisions override supplier decisions on any order — final authority is enforced by the system, not by argument
Built for the client's actual market: Arabic-first, carton-based pricing, single-supplier orders, no dependency on card payment infrastructure
Shipped tested and hardened; deployment and app store launch in progress
